DWELLTEK HOME ENERGY PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENTS
This assessment is required to participate in the Utah State Home Performance Energy Star Program. To find out more about this program please visit their website.

- Blower door Test to determine air infiltration points as well as quantity of air infiltration
- Thermal imaging
- Inventory of lighting, appliances, HVAC and Power Vampires
- Utility bill Analysis
- Pressure pan test (initial test of ductwork outside thermal boundary)
- Combustion appliance efficiency Analysis and carbon monoxide testing (furnace, hot water)

If you are buying a home or selling a home, A HERS rating can be a useful tool as it can be used to qualify for Energy Efficient Mortgage products. A HERS rating is also used for Builders who want their homes to qualify for the Energy Star rebate program.
